Job Title: Part Time Librarian


We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Part Time Librarian to join our team in Karachi. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and maintaining the library's organization and systems. This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $1800 per month and includes free visa and ticket for all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email
- Maintain the library's organization by shelving books, checking in/out materials, and ensuring shelves are tidy
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading among patrons of all ages
- Train library staff on new technologies and systems as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure relevant resources are available for students' coursework

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of library organization systems (e.g. Dewey Decimal) and research techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to assist patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Proficient in using technology for research purposes (e.g. databases, search engines)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members
