Instrument Technician
We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Karachi. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience with calibration and testing procedures. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on various types of instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and equipment, utilizing knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform necessary repairs or replacements to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Test instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve processes and systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with calibration procedures for various types of instruments
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is 1200$ per month.
