Contract Merchandiser in Karachi, Pakistan
A leading retail company in Karachi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or full-time employment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, from product selection to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer demands.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and delivery terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop effective marketing strategies for products.
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in merchandising within the retail industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
