Junior Android Developer


We are hiring a Junior Android Developer to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will also be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for Android development
- Ensure the quality and responsiveness of applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mobile technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience working with remote data via JSON and XML
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to implement designs into code
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be willing to relocate to Lahore, Pakistan

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience developing mobile applications for Android platform (personal projects or internships)
- Knowledge of popular third-party libraries for networking, image loading, etc.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
