Entry Level Information Security Analyst


We are hiring an Entry Level Information Security Analyst to join our team in Lahore. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's sensitive information from cyber threats and attacks. Your main duties will include monitoring our systems for any potential breaches, conducting vulnerability assessments, and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls
- Create and maintain security policies and procedures
- Train employees on security best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with network security tools (e.g. SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Understanding of cloud computing environments
- Experience with incident response procedures

Salary: 1800$ per month

Location: Lahore
