Senior Database Administrator


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator to join our team in Lahore. As a Senior DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise and ensuring that our databases are properly maintained and backed up.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and optimize database systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database problems or performance issues
- Monitor database performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure data integrity and security across all databases
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of databases with applications
- Conduct regular audits to identify potential issues or vulnerabilities
- Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Database Administrator
- Strong understanding of database architecture, data structures, normalization techniques, indexing strategies, etc.
- Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
- Knowledge of database security best practices
- Experience with data backup and recovery procedures
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this position.
