Preservation Architect

Salary: 1200$ per month
We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Khanpur, Pakistan. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while ensuring their structural integrity and functionality. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating preservation plans, overseeing restoration projects, and collaborating with other professionals such as engineers and historians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research on historical buildings and structures to understand their significance and architectural style
- Creating preservation plans that outline the necessary repairs or modifications to maintain the structure's historical integrity
- Overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring that all work is done according to the preservation plan
- Collaborating with engineers, historians, and other professionals to ensure the structural stability and authenticity of the building or structure
- Evaluating potential risks or challenges during restoration projects and finding effective solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of all research, plans, and project progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques for preserving them
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze historical documents and drawings
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different professionals
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
