We are hiring a qualified Librarian to join our team in Khanpur. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library's collection, providing research assistance, and promoting a love for reading and learning among our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a well-organized library system
- Catalogue and classify books, journals, and other materials
- Assist patrons in finding and accessing resources
- Plan and implement library programs and events to promote literacy
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs
- Stay updated on current literature and research trends in various fields
- Manage budget for purchasing new materials
- Train library staff on cataloguing procedures and technology use

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using library technology and computer systems
- Familiarity with cataloguing standards such as MARC format
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting is a plus
- Familiarity with educational software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs/Sheets
- Knowledge of multiple languages is an asset

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Khanpur. Accommodation may be provided if needed.
