Contract Computer Systems Analyst (Lisbon)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Systems Analyst to join our team in Lisbon on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems and making recommendations for improvements. You must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to work independently. Accommodation will be provided, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze current computer systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Develop solutions to improve system functionality and efficiency
- Test and implement new systems or upgrades
- Train users on new systems or processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends and make recommendations for implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve effectively
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred:
- Experience working in a contract or consulting role
- Previous experience in project management or leading teams on technical projects
