Job Title: IT Manager


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This includes managing hardware and software installations, maintaining network security, troubleshooting technical issues, and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all IT operations, including hardware and software installations, network security, and data backup
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of all systems
- Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of existing systems to ensure they meet the needs of the company
- Monitor network performance to identify potential issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for new systems or upgrades that could benefit the company
- Train employees on how to use new systems or software as needed
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise with hardware, software, or networks
- Ensure data security by implementing appropriate security measures and regularly backing up data
- Manage relationships with external vendors for support or services related to IT systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role as an IT Manager or related position
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, networks, and information security protocols
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience working with external vendors for IT services is preferred
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, along with accommodation in Lisbon. Salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
