Android Developer



We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with project managers and designers to ensure the best user experience and functionality of the apps.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or testers
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven working experience as an Android Developer with at least 3 years of experience
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with OOP concepts, design patterns, and architecture principles
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Bonus Skills:
- Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications (React Native)
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with accommodation for candidates who prefer it. We also require candidates to have a valid biometric passport.
