Bilingual Interpreter in Lisbon, Portugal


We are hiring a Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and another language (preferably Portuguese). You will work with clients from various backgrounds and industries, providing support in meetings, conferences, and other settings.

Responsibilities:
- Listen to speakers and accurately interpret their message into the target language
- Facilitate communication between English-speaking clients and non-English speaking individuals
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Familiarize yourself with technical terminology in both languages to ensure accurate interpretation
- Assist with document translation as needed

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese (written and spoken)
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to remain neutral in tense situations
- Knowledge of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Own visa or eligibility to work in Portugal without sponsorship
