Heavy Equipment Operator



We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of this equipment, while also adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to complete assigned tasks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning before use
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, fueling, and cleaning equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Monitor and report any issues or malfunctions with the equipment to the supervisor
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Adhere to company policies regarding timekeeping, work procedures, and conduct

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow them at all times
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Other benefits such as accommodation may be provided for the right candidate.

Location:
This position is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Candidates must be willing to relocate or already have the right visa to work in Portugal.
