Job Title: Solar Installer
Location: Lisbon, Portugal


As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar energy systems for residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include setting up solar panels, connecting wiring, and ensuring proper functioning of the system. You must have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work at heights. This position requires physical labor and ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels on roofs or other structures according to blueprints and instructions
- Connect panels to electrical systems, including wiring and inverters
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing solar energy systems
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance processes
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and safety of others on job site
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in electrical or renewable energy preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience working with solar panel installation or related field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC currents, wiring diagrams, and safety precautions
- Physically fit with ability to climb ladders and work at heights; must also be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. However, the candidate must be available to work weekends as needed.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
