Entry-Level Preservation Architect
A reputable architecture firm in Lisbon is seeking an Entry-Level Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for preservation and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting site surveys and documenting existing conditions
- Collaborate with design team on preservation plans and proposals
- Conduct research on historical structures and materials
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports for preservation projects
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed
- Participate in site visits during construction phase
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong interest in historic preservation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
