Job Title: Fitter - Lisbon, Portugal



We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fitter to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components as well as maintaining and repairing machinery. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble and install mechanical components according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that may arise
- Ensure all safety standards are met while working with machinery
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Continuously develop knowledge of new technology and techniques in the field of mechanical fitting

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a Fitter in a similar role
- Technical degree or certification in mechanical fitting preferred
- Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1100 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the successful candidate.

Location:

This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal.
