Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Lisbon. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, to move and load materials, dig trenches, and perform other construction tasks. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$, and candidates must have prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to move and load materials, dig trenches, and complete other construction tasks.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.

Requirements:
- Prior experience as an Excavator Operator.
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to read and understand construction plans.
- Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy equipment for long periods of time.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Experience operating various types of heavy equipment besides excavators.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese.
