We are hiring a Contract Accountant to join our team in Lisbon. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial documents, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to analyze financial data and make recommendations for cost savings and improved efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial documents and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare financial reports on a regular basis
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Collaborate with other departments to gather information for budget planning
- Monitor cash flows and prepare cash flow projections
- Assist with audits and tax filings as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Length: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
Location: Lisbon, Portugal (local candidates preferred but open to all nationalities)
