Executive Chef (Part-Time) in Lisbon, Portugal
We are in search of an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis in Lisbon, Portugal. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food and service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that are innovative, fresh, and in line with current culinary trends
- Oversee all food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating to ensure consistency and quality
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to create budgets for food costs and labor expenses
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards a common goal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.
