Job Title: Part-Time Dietitian Assistant (Lisbon)


We are seeking a part-time Dietitian Assistant to join our team in Lisbon. This position is suitable for individuals without experience and is open to all nationalities. As a Dietitian Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered dietitian to provide support in nutrition counseling, meal planning, and education to clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate records. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary for this role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition and promoting healthy lifestyle habits. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist registered dietitian in conducting initial assessments and follow-up appointments with clients
- Collaborate with the dietitian to develop personalized nutrition plans based on client's needs and goals
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and meal planning
- Track client's progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plan
- Maintain accurate records of client's information, appointments, and progress
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- Keep up-to-date with current research and trends in the field of nutrition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
- Previous experience in a clinical or community setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an asset but not required
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for promoting healthy eating habits and preventing chronic diseases through nutrition education
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
