We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Librarian to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books and other materials, assisting patrons with research and reference requests, and organizing community events such as book clubs and workshops.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference requests
- Organize community events such as book clubs and workshops
- Maintain a welcoming and organized library environment
- Promote literacy programs and encourage reading among all age groups
- Create engaging displays to promote new materials or themes
- Catalogue new materials into the library's database system
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a library setting is a plus
- Strong knowledge of library systems and databases
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for literature and promoting reading among all age groups
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies, trends, and resources in the library field
