Junior Land Surveyor
As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection and analysis of land data for mapping and construction projects. You will work closely with a team of experienced surveyors to learn and develop your skills in all aspects of land surveying. Your main duties will include using various surveying instruments to measure distances, angles, elevations, and contours, as well as recording data and creating maps and reports. You will also assist in setting up and maintaining survey equipment, conducting research and calculations, and liaising with clients and other professionals on site.
To excel in this role, you should have a keen interest in land surveying and be willing to learn from experienced professionals. A degree or certification in land surveying or a related field is preferred, but not required. Strong mathematical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions are essential for this position.
The ideal candidate should also have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team. Training will be provided on-the-job, but prior experience with using surveying equipment or software is an advantage.
This is a full-time position based in Lisbon, with a starting salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation is not provided, so the candidate should have their own housing arrangements.
