A well-established restaurant in Lisbon is seeking a hardworking and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. We are committed to providing exceptional service and delicious food to our customers, and we need a dedicated dishwasher to help us achieve this goal.

As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, while also assisting with basic food prep tasks when needed.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month. We offer accommodation for our employees as well as assistance with obtaining the necessary visa for non-EU citizens. Previous experience is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using manual or automated methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
- Ensure all dishes are properly sanitized before returning them to the kitchen
- Assist with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients
- Empty trash bins regularly and maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen
- Follow all health and safety standards in regards to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements:

- Must have legal authorization to work in Portugal (EU citizenship or valid work visa)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs
- Basic understanding of food safety guidelines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
