Head Baker

We are in search of a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Lisbon. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our bakery, including creating and developing new recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and training and supervising the baking staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new recipes for our bakery products
- Ensure high quality and consistent production of baked goods
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise baking staff, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times
- Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to plan menus and specials
- Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a professional baker
- Experience in managing a team of bakers
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to develop new recipes while maintaining consistency in existing ones
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Excellent communication skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.
