Live-in Caregiver in Lisbon



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to join our team in Lisbon. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to our elderly clients in their homes. This is a contract job with a salary of $900 per month, along with accommodation provided by our company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication and monitor its effectiveness
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments outside the home
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report to supervisor as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding personality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of first aid and medication administration
- Must be able to provide references from previous employers or clients

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon. Preference will be given to candidates who are already located in Portugal.

Working Conditions:
As a live-in caregiver, you will be provided with your own private room within the client's home. You will have scheduled breaks throughout the day but must be available for any emergencies that may arise during your shift.
