Office Manager (Contract) - Lisbon, Portugal
We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and providing support to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory levels
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members
- Keep track of company expenses and prepare expense reports
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to maintain efficiency
- Assist with HR duties such as onboarding new employees and managing employee records
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner
- Monitor office budget and ensure cost-effective practices are followed
- Liaise with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct research on various topics as needed by the team
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong typing skills
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of biometric passport procedures is preferred but not required
- Must be available to start immediately
We offer a competitive salary of 1800$ per month for this contract position. As this is an urgent requirement, we are looking for candidates who can join us immediately.
