IT Manager



We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall IT operations and strategy for our company. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided and a free visa and ticket.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems
- Monitor system performance and security to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions accordingly
- Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to recommend new tools or processes that could benefit the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Proven experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, network systems, and cybersecurity protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in a multinational company or diverse cultural environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal, Portugal. Our company will provide accommodation for the successful candidate.

Visa & Ticket:
We offer a free visa sponsorship as well as a ticket to Funchal for candidates outside of Portugal.
