Junior Computer Research Scientist


We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Computer Research Scientist to join our research team in Funchal. As a junior member of the team, you will work closely with senior researchers to conduct experiments, analyze data, and develop new technologies. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments and gather data using various computer research tools and techniques
- Analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and correlations
- Collaborate with senior researchers to develop new technologies and algorithms
- Write reports and present findings to the team and external stakeholders
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in computer research and incorporate them into projects
- Follow industry standards and best practices for conducting research

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of computer science principles, algorithms, and programming languages (e.g. Java, Python)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Familiarity with research methodologies and techniques
- Good communication skills with the ability to present findings effectively
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal but we welcome candidates from any nationality or location. For non-local candidates, accommodation will be provided.
