Junior Data Analyst


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to help inform business decisions and strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and interpret data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and surveys
- Clean and organize data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Develop algorithms and models to analyze data and identify trends
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights from data
- Continuously monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information quickly
- Proficiency in SQL and statistical analysis tools such as Excel or R
- Knowledge of data mining techniques and database management systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
