Quality Assurance Engineer


We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual and automated testing, as well as strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify and report bugs and issues to development team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on potential quality issues
- Conduct regression testing to ensure ongoing software stability
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
- Proficient in writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
