Junior Android Developer


We are hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Android Developer to join our team in Funchal. As a Junior Android Developer, you will work closely with our senior developers to create and maintain high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for mobile development to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and develop new features for our Android applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of the applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to Android development
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users
- Continuously improve the quality of our applications through code reviews, refactoring, and implementing best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git version control system
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for learning new technologies and eagerness to take on challenges

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
- Previous experience developing mobile applications on other platforms (iOS, Windows)

Salary: USD 1600 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)

Location: Funchal (candidate must be willing to relocate if not currently residing in Funchal)
