Game Developer


As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and interactive video games. Your role will involve collaborating with a team of designers, artists, and programmers to bring creative ideas to life. You must have a strong understanding of coding languages such as C++, Java, and Unity, as well as experience with game engines and development tools.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing game mechanics, controls, and features
- Writing efficient and maintainable code that meets project requirements
- Testing and debugging code to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Collaborating with designers to create balanced gameplay systems
- Working closely with artists to integrate graphics and audio into the game
- Maintaining game performance by optimizing code and fixing bugs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in game development using various programming languages
- Knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Familiarity with 2D/3D graphics, animation, and physics in games
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Location: This position is based in Funchal. Candidates must be eligible to work in Portugal without accommodation provided.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month based on qualifications and experience.
