Data Mining Analyst



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends. This position is ideal for students or candidates without prior experience, as we will provide on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Use various tools and techniques to extract data from multiple sources
- Clean and organize data sets to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analyze data using statistical methods and visualization tools
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations in the data
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide insights based on data analysis
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (students pursuing these degrees are also welcome)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle large amounts of data accurately
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new tools and techniques for data analysis
