Data Mining Analyst


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends. Your insights will be critical in helping our company make data-driven decisions and improve overall business performance.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources
- Use statistical methods and tools to analyze data and identify patterns and trends
- Develop predictive models using machine learning techniques
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Continuously monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business needs and provide data-driven solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, and visualization
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R programming
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as regression analysis, decision trees, clustering etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Funchal (local candidates preferred)
