Moderator (Remote)

We are seeking a remote Moderator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating online content and interactions on various platforms. This is a freelance position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content on various online platforms according to company guidelines
- Interact with users in a professional and respectful manner
- Identify and address any inappropriate or offensive content or behavior
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve moderation processes and policies

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with users from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with social media platforms, online forums, and community management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while reviewing large amounts of content
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in content moderation or community management
- Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
- Familiarity with social media trends and current events
- Ability to handle sensitive or controversial topics in an objective manner
