Tiler - Funchal, Madeira


We are in need of an experienced Tiler to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles in homes, buildings, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in tiling and be able to work efficiently and accurately to complete projects on time.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas
- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning and leveling
- Lay out tiles in a pattern or design
- Mix and apply adhesives for tile installation
- Grout and seal finished tiles
- Repair or replace damaged or loose tiles
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment while working
- Communicate with clients to understand their tiling needs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Proficient in using tile cutting tools and other equipment
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract job. Accommodation will also be provided.
