Job Title: Formworker

Our construction company in Funchal is seeking a reliable and hardworking Formworker to join our team. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1300$ per month. We welcome applicants of all nationalities, and for those without experience, on-the-job training will be provided. This position also includes free visa sponsorship and airfare to Funchal.

As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing concrete structures according to specifications and blueprints. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure that all forms are properly set up and secured before pouring concrete. Attention to detail and precision are essential in this role, as any errors in formwork can compromise the structural integrity of the building.

To excel in this role, you should have physical strength and endurance as well as good hand-eye coordination. Previous experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required. You must also be able to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up formwork according to blueprints and specifications
- Ensure forms are properly secured before pouring concrete
- Measure, cut, and shape materials for formwork
- Use hand tools and power tools for formwork construction
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts to move materials
- Inspect forms for defects or damage
- Remove forms after concrete has set
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical strength and endurance
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques is preferred but not required
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
