Turner Technician



We are a well-established manufacturing company in Funchal and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Turner Technician to join our team. As a Turner Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in our production process. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month, along with free visa and ticket for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various turning machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, etc.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine work procedures
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machinery and make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in machining preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, tools, materials, and processes
- Knowledge of CNC programming is an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
