Industrial Alpinist

We are seeking an Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at height using specialized equipment and techniques. This is a physically demanding role that requires a high level of fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial alpinism operations such as rope access, rigging, and rescue
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures and equipment at height
- Install and remove temporary structures for construction projects
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as harnesses, ropes, and ascenders
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism is preferred but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to work at height for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of rigging principles and rope access techniques is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1600 per month. Overtime may be available depending on project demands.
