Glazier - Contract in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazier to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Funchal, Portugal. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing glass for a variety of projects including windows, doors, mirrors, and other decorative pieces. Your attention to detail and precision will be key in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
- Install glass using various techniques such as glazing, sealing, and caulking
- Repair or replace damaged glass in windows, doors, or other structures
- Create templates or patterns for custom shapes or sizes
- Work with a variety of materials such as tempered glass, laminated glass, and safety glass
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with glass

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Glazier
- Proficient in measuring and cutting glass accurately
- Knowledge of different types of glass and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to work with heavy materials
- Familiarity with different tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This position is based in Funchal, Portugal. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate.
