We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. You will work on construction sites and other projects, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid biometric passport
- Ability to read project plans and understand specifications
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating specific types of heavy machinery (e.g. bulldozers, excavators, loaders)
- Formal training or certification in heavy equipment operation

Salary: $1300/month (with accommodation)
