Entry-level Glazier in Funchal, Portugal

Our glazing company in Funchal is seeking an entry-level glazier to join our team. As a glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass windows, doors, and other structures. This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals without prior experience in the field to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
- Install glass in frames using putty, screws, or other materials
- Secure glass panes with clips, moldings, or other fasteners
- Replace broken or damaged glass
- Cut and install mirrors
- Fabricate aluminum frames for installation of glass panels
- Clean and smooth edges of installed glass
- Use tools such as power saws, drills, grinders, and cutting wheels

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding

Salary:
We offer a competitive starting salary of $1200 per month for this entry-level position.

Location:
This job is located in Funchal, Portugal. Portuguese citizenship is preferred but not required.
