Senior Architect


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our team in Funchal. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various projects, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process and provide guidance to junior architects and designers
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop appropriate design solutions
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction is proceeding according to plans
- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and other project documents
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations
- Mentor junior architects and provide constructive feedback on their work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- At least 7 years of experience as an architect, with a focus on residential or commercial projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and structural engineering principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members from diverse backgrounds
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
