Architecture Manager

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Manager to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our architectural projects, from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing successful projects.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
- Develop project proposals, budgets, and timelines
- Oversee project teams and delegate tasks accordingly
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes and regulations
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns
- Review project plans and specifications for accuracy and adherence to design standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Proactively identify potential challenges or delays and develop solutions to mitigate them

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design or management
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, construction methods, materials, etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working on commercial projects is preferred
