Machine Operator for Manufacturing Company in Funchal


We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Funchal. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machines to produce high-quality products. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines according to specifications and instructions
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
- Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as needed
- Keep accurate records of production data and maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with various types of machines such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Must have accommodation in or near Funchal
- Valid biometric passport (preferably Portuguese)
- Open to hiring freshers who are willing to learn and grow in the role
