Executive Chef Assistant

We are in search of an enthusiastic and motivated Executive Chef Assistant to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As the Executive Chef Assistant, you will work alongside the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food is consistently delivered to our customers. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment while learning from an experienced Executive Chef.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Oversee food preparation and presentation
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation of service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Keep up-to-date with current food trends and innovations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen preferred, but not required
- Passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Willingness to learn from an experienced Executive Chef
- Ability to legally work in Portugal with visa sponsorship if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.
