Junior Dietitian - Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior Dietitian to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Junior Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to clients, developing personalized meal plans, and monitoring progress towards health goals. This is a contract position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their nutritional needs and health concerns
- Develop personalized meal plans based on clients' dietary restrictions and health goals
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to clients on healthy eating habits
- Monitor clients' progress towards their health goals and make necessary adjustments to meal plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in nutrition and incorporate into practice
- Maintain accurate records of client assessments, progress notes, and meal plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or relevant field
- Registered Dietitian certification preferred but not required
- Fluent in Portuguese (both written and verbal)
- Strong communication skills with ability to effectively educate and counsel clients
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for promoting healthy living through proper nutrition
