We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Librarian to join our team at the Funchal Public Library. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced librarian looking for a flexible part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and using library resources
- Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloging and shelving books
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and reading among library users
- Provide reference services, including answering questions, conducting research, and offering recommendations
- Train new staff members on library procedures and systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of library systems and cataloging methods
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
