Radio Technician


We are a leading broadcasting company located in the beautiful city of Funchal, seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment and systems. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues, performing routine inspections and tests, and keeping accurate records of all maintenance activities.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radio technology
- Proficient in using various diagnostic tools and equipment
- Extensive knowledge of radio transmission principles and FCC regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related components.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with radio systems using diagnostic tools.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of all equipment.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects on time.
- Adhere to FCC regulations when operating or making changes to radio systems.

We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this position. Accommodation is not provided, however we offer free visa sponsorship and roundtrip tickets for non-local candidates.
