Radio Technician



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team in Funchal. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing radio communication systems. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own accommodations in Funchal. A biometric passport is also required.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio communication systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing systems
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Keep detailed records of work performed and equipment status
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members on complex projects
- Stay updated on industry advancements and changes in technology

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio communication systems and equipment
- Familiarity with electronic testing tools and procedures
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good physical condition to climb ladders or work at heights if necessary
- Biometric passport for international travel
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electronics or related field
- Experience working with marine or aviation communication systems
